Grand Canyon Seasonal Weather Patterns

The South Rim of the Grand Canyon sits at about 7000' (2135 meters); the North Rim rises up to nearly 9000' (2745 meters). Most people think of the region as a hot, dry, desert environment. On the contrary it has four full seasons with highly fluctuating temperatures and every type of precipitation possible (including snow). While we do not operate our bike rental facility during winter months, the spring and fall weather can high winds and cold temperatures so it's important that you come prepared for your visit.
