Currently Seeking Employees for the 2012 Season

We are currently seeking individuals to work during our 2012 season at Grand Canyon South Rim.
Available positions include the following:

• Bike Technicians - Must be proficient and experienced at fixing and maintaining bikes and have references to qualify.
  
  
• Managers / Assistant Manager - Must have experience working with the public and managing employees. Must have references to qualify.
  
  
• Cashier - Must have experience working with the public and have basic arithmatic skills. Ideally should have experience handling money. Must have references to qualify.
  
  
• Bike Tour Guides - Must have excellent demonstratable knowledge of the Grand Canyon. Must have excellent people/communication skills. Must be able to ride a bike. Ideally would have prior experience guiding (river guides, biking guides, hiking guides, park rangers). Must have references to qualify. Must clear mandatory drug test.
  
  
• Driver - Must have excellent demonstratable driving skills. Must be able to physicially lift bikes on and off of bike trailer. Must have clean driving record and be 25 years of age or older. Must have references to qualify. Must clear mandatory drug test.

Transportation & Accomodations

Grand Canyon is a beautiful and worthwhile place to work and live but it does come with it's challenges due to it's location. Most of our employees either live at Grand Canyon or Tusayan (the town immediately outside it's gates) or commute from Flagstaff or Williams. During our 2012 season we will provide accomodation for a limited number of our employees and for those commuting from Flagstaff we will organize car-pooling groups. Special consideration will be given to candidates who already live at Grand Canyon.
